Is there a no-cost way to try Storefronts POS?+

Yes. The Demo plan gives you a single terminal with every module switched on, so you can run the full app on your own machine before you commit to anything. No card required.

Can I run Storefronts POS offline?+

Yes. The desktop app runs fully offline and syncs in the background when you reconnect. Sales never block on the network — that's the whole point.

What's the difference between terminals, operator seats and dashboard seats?+

A terminal is any customer-facing screen Storefronts ships — the cashier till, the hotel front desk, the waiter tablet, the kitchen display, the storekeeper receiving screen. Anything task-based that serves a customer in real time. Every user in your tenancy is a seat — Seats come in two pools: operator seats are the people who sign into terminals (cashiers, waiters, front-desk, housekeepers), and dashboard seats are the people who work in the back-office views (admins, managers, supervisors).

Does the price include hardware?+

No. Storefronts works with any standard ESC/POS thermal printer, USB barcode scanner and cash drawer. Bring your own.

Can I switch plans later?+

Yes — upgrade or downgrade at any time from Settings → Billing in the app. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing period.
